Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased load shedding to 11 hours a day (70 Hours a Week) effective from Poush 4, 2072 (December 19, 2015).

The power outage has been hiked due to excessive load in the system,  reduced water level in the rivers and delay in reinstating the earthquake hit power houses, said NEA.
